Liberty Wings PA-Y

Liberty Wings PA-Y WR is a group of like-minded people:  those who own motorcycles and love to ride hailing from Southeastern Pennsylvania (Berks, Bucks and Montgomery counties). The love of motorcycle riding brings us together for social and destination events.  Our group meets monthly and has monthly informal dinners at various local eateries. 

We have affiliated ourselves with the new Wing’d Riders group and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with joining a national organization that has chapters throughout the US. We practice safe, responsible riding, through years of education and classes, and readily share our knowledge with any newcomers.  We started as a Gold Wing group and have expanded to include all makes of motorcycles, including 2, 3, and 4 wheels.

During the spring, summer and fall we ride together several times per month. We do weekend, midweek rides and multi-day trips each year. The destination is secondary to the joy of riding there. We visit historical and scenic places, fun eating spots, and other Wing Rider chapters. Our ride destinations and distances vary but typically focus on the “scenic backroads” leading to unique destinations, restaurants, and of course ice cream stops.  We take one or more multi-day trips each year. Being a Wing’d Rider chapter, our members often participate in the events and rides that are hosted by neighboring Wing’d Rider chapters.  

On our rides we have a dedicated leader (who has prepared the route), we ride staggered, and have a “tail gunner” to bring up the rear and help anyone in trouble.  Whether we are on a daily ice cream or dinner ride, a weekender, or a longer trip to a well-planned-out destination, our emphasis is always on safe, lawful, manageable group riding so we can all have fun and enjoy each others’ company! 

Feel free to join us at our monthly meetings on the fourth Saturday of each month at the Blue Comet Motorcycle Club (in Skippack), 4042 Mensch Rd., Schwenksville, PA 19473.  In riding season, we try to go for a ride after the meeting, so come prepared!

We meet on the 4th Saturday of each month, based on the following schedule:

9:00 AM - January - March

8:30 AM - April - October

9:00 AM - November

We generally meet for about an hour and then we may go on a ride or out for brunch together as well!  Goldwings, Harleys, Indians, etc are all welcome.  We are a group that enjoys riding, no matter what your emblem may be on your motorcycle or trike.
